Place grain in a fine strainer and hold under cold running water until water runs clear; drain well. **Optional: Toast the grain in a dry skillet before cooking to give it a delicious roasted flavor. **Boil - From Ambient **1. Boil 2 cups of water or broth. **2. Combine water or broth and 1 cup Quinoa in a medium saucepan. **3. Reduce to simmer, cover and cook until grain is translucent and the germ has spiraled out from each grain. **4. Cook about 15 minutes.
